For Visa Applicants, please read the following information:
▶ Please come to the consulate from 9:00 – 11:20 am to apply for visa.
(Walk-In Basis / First Come – First Served)
▶ UAE Nationals and UAE Residence visa holders of Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Umm Al-Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah can apply through the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Dubai.
▶ For Abu Dhabi and Al Ain residence visa holders, please apply in the Embassy of Korea in Abu Dhabi. Kindly visit their website for more information: http://overseas.mofa.go.kr/ae-en/index.do
▶ UAE Tourist visa holders and UAE residence visa holders with below 6 months remaining on their visa validity CANNOT apply through the Consulate. Please apply from your home country
▶The applicant and their representative must be able to communicate in Korean or English.
▶Fill out the form in English language and hand-sign it. All documents MUST BE IN ENGLISH OR KOREAN LANGUAGE ONLY. If it is written in Arabic, please have it translated first; then submit both the Arabic and the English translation of the document.
▶ Application should be submitted in person. (No courier service acceptable) Representative may also come and submit in the applicant’s behalf just make sure that the applicant already signed on the application form and that the representative will bring the complete documents.
▶ The application requirements must be complete and correct; and the acceptance of your application is at the discretion of the Visa Officer. Submission of additional documents may be requested when deemed necessary, even after the application is completed. Once the documents are submitted, it will not be returned to the applicant.
▶ Visa Fee: 160 AED (Single Entry), 280AED (Double Entry), 360AED (Multiple Entry)

Visa fees may vary according to nationality;
Visa fee is NOT REFUNDABLE even if the application was denied.
▶The visa issuance may be denied after the screening of the application. Having all of the required documents does not guarantee a visa.
▶ Additionally, even if you have a Korean visa, you can still be denied entry to Korean soil should an immigration officer find some requirements unsatisfactory after their inspection.
▶ Please apply for your visa in advance since we do not have urgent processing. The visa processing will take 5 working days (not including the date of application), collection timing from 3:00 – 4:00 pm ONLY.
If you cannot pick up your visa when it is ready, please come on the next business day during regular visa pick-up hours, from 15:00 to 16:00.
▶ All visa types are valid from the date of issue until the date of expiry (usually 3 months validity).
▶ If you are holding a REFUGEE TRAVEL DOCUMENT instead of a passport, please allot more time for the visa processing since it may take 2 – 3 weeks for the visa to be processed for this kind of travel document.
▶The Consulate General of Korea does not have any obligation to explain the reason for the rejection of your visa. We reserve the right to reject an application without having to provide a reason but you can apply again after 6 months.
